Make New Clients; But Keep The Old;

March 13, 2017 By BIll

Make New Clients; But Keep The Old;  One is Silver; The Other’s Gold!

Businesses are trying to attract new customers, but what about existing customers???   It takes a lot more time, money, and effort to get new business, so why not setup a plan to retain your existing customers. After all it’s their “word of mouth” that can bring you new customers. Or not.

Ever see ads that say “For New Customers Only”? That can be a turn off to existing customers. People who do business with you want acknowledgement. They want to know you care. Giving them a gift with your company name on it will not only show you care, but will also give you more exposure.

Almost everyone has a cell phone, iPod or even a stack of business cards. The Cell-A-Lounge is a great product for the desktop. It’s designed to make it easy to use the speakerphone so you can talk hands-free. While designed for cell phones, it cradles almost anything like the iPod, business cards, and many other things.

If your clients are on the go, maybe a pocket size notebook and pen would be the right product to use to keep your name in front of them. It’s a very useful tool to keep in your client’s car or pocket. Think use-ability. What will your client use over and over? That’s a tool that hits your target market.

If you are on a budget and need a large quantity of give-a-ways, try the emery board. Even men need to file their nails. They come in different colors, shapes and sizes. Emery boards are often found in the pocket, the purse, the desk drawer and in the car. It’s a low cost way to keep your name coming up again and again. Because they are low cost, you can afford to give someone two or three emery boards, which may be given away to other people you don’t even know.

Think of promotional products as an investment in marketing.   These little gifts show you care, help you get your name out, and even reach people you may never see otherwise.   Give us a call and let a promo products expert help you choose the right products to reach your target market.

Lanyards Make the Connection That Lasts

February 10, 2017 By BIll

Lanyards were originally used by the military to keep something close at hand, whether it was a pistol, a sword, or whistle. Today we find them useful to keep things nearby, such as keys, an ID, a whistle, eyeglasses or just about anything. Because they are useful, they’re a great promotional product. They’re great for schools, groups, organizations and tradeshows.   They also come with a choice of split rings, bulldog clips or swivel hooks on the end. And for those who want BLING, you can get BLING!

A school might wish to place their name and logo on the lanyards and sell them to students. But Barney’s local restaurant can express their support by giving students lanyards that say “ Barney’s Supports Northside High” or something similar. By giving them away to students, the students now have a connection to Barney’s. And by wearing the lanyard, they are actually advertising for Barney’s. What a great way to show support to the local school and be rewarded for doing so!

You can boost your exposure using a free marketing team…just give lanyards with your name and logo to any local group. You can ensure the lanyards are being worn if you add something to go along with it, such as a hand sanitizer, an ID badge, or a whistle. For example, adults with young children probably need a hand sanitizer attached to them at all times. Any group where people need to know the names of each other is a candidate for the ID badges. Why not offer a lanyard with a whistle for anyone offering self-defense classes? The options are endless. Call us and let us help you market your business using the right promotional products to make your connections last.

BRANDING

January 24, 2017 By BIll

It’s all about getting your name and logo out where people will see them…and see them again…and again, until your brand and logo is like a household word. The red and white Coca-Cola logo is recognized around the world, because they put it on everything: cans, bottles, & boxes, shirts & jackets, trucks, billboards, bandanas, toys, store windows, key chains, note pads, ink pens, and just about everything imaginable.
If you are a small company, perhaps you don’t have to go that far, but you should make sure that your team displays your name and logo as often as possible. Brand you team with Shirts showing your logo. Don’t use generic business forms, when you have the opportunity to use forms showing your name and logo. You don’t have to say a word. You don’t even have to be there. Just make sure your products are speaking for you.

SELECT THE RIGHT PRODUCTS

January 19, 2017 By BIll

Select the right promotional products to meet your needs. Don’t just throw some money in the barrel, or shotgun your dollars to find a one-size-fits-all product. You can maximize your results by targeting your dollars toward your goals.   Rely upon your promotional products experts to help you sort through products and select the right ones to meet your goals.

First ask yourself, “WHAT do I want to accomplish?” Be specific about what you want to do. Is it to…

Say thanks to good customers?

Publicize an upcoming event?

Educate people?

Keep your name in front of clients or potential clients?

Motivate your employees?

Then think about WHO your target is for this mission. It could be…

High level executives; or

The gatekeepers at big companies; or

Small business owners; or

Salespeople; or

Local teenagers; or

Parents of school children; or

The general public; or

Any group.

Now consider what products might be used again and again by members of the group you are targeting. For example, someone that sits at a desk most of the day might find a paperweight or desk clock useful,

Don’t Forget the Kids!

January 16, 2017 By BIll

Don’t Forget the Kids!

Building a relationship with the entire family is important for business. Studies show that children as young as three have strong brand recognition. Building a rapport with kids can create life long relationships and brand loyalty. One report stated that children are not only great purchasers but also exhibit great influence on their parents purchase decisions. Children’s influence on the market is estimated to be around $1.88 trillion.

For years Delta Air Lines gave out “tiny fliers” to their younger passengers. This tiny pin featuring wings and the Delta logo influenced their parents decision to use that airline, and as adults these children accumulated frequent flyer miles with that company. Remembering the children with something as small as a pin, a packet of crayons, or a balloon can influence repeat business.

Larger items, like cool decorative pens, can become a part of a child’s toy box. Kids will take an item like this with them to places like show and tell at school. Giving a child their favorite item can inspire a lifelong love for your company and show the parents that you care.

A kid’s kit with your brand name imprinted on it can be of fun for children and something they show their friends. This can create additional traffic to your business as children encourage their friends to get their own.

Remember Your Clients on Valentines Day

January 12, 2017 By BIll

This Valentine’s Day don’t forget to show your clients how much you appreciate them. Send them something with a personal touch. A small boutique in Atlanta started sending hand written thank you notes to its customers last year. The notes were personal, sighting the items the clients bought and wishing them happiness with their purchase. The hand written notes took more time and effort than an email, however they created a personal relationship between the sales clerk and the customer. This year that small boutique has grown enormously because of their loyal customer following.

You build a relationship with your clients by letting them know that you appreciate them. Add notes to the card about referencing things you have talked about with your clients or details that let them know that you are thinking about them specifically while you are writing the card. Make them feel like they are not just part of an assembly line. They will remember the sentiment and come back for business.

In addition to sending a note, send a great promotional item to your client with a touch of Valentines Day spirit, like a teddy bear or a heart shaped key chain. Pick something that lets your clients know that you are thinking of them and appreciate them. Another wonderful idea is if you know something that your client might find useful or something they might need. Clients are more likely to come back if you send them a promotional item.

“What is success? I think it is a mixture of having a flair for the thing that you are doing; knowing that it is not enough, that you have got to have hard work and a certain sense of purpose.”

Quotable Quotes-Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
